"Black as night, with aromas of blackberry, violet, flowers and Indian spices. Full-bodied, with loads of tannins, but ultra-refined. Very long and beautiful, with great texture. This is 1997 again. Best after 2010. 500 cases made."

The grapes are first thinned twice then, during harvest, an average of three grapes out of five are chosen to make the Brunello wine according to the traditional method. After long maceration with the grape skin at the temperature of around 33ºC (91.4ºF), the wine ages for six months in small French oak barrels, then for 24 months in 17.5 hectoliters Slavonic oak barrels before bottling. Before release, the Brunello is further aged for over six months in the bottles.
The color is deep ruby red, the perfume is ethereal, with intense, complex bouquet. In the mouth it reveals strong body, good structure and balanced tannins. Pairs well with red meat, game, and aged cheese. Serve at 20°C (68°F) in wide glass. |

The wine has intense ruby red color, with elegant, intensely winy aroma. In the mouth it is harmonic, dry, sapid, slightly tannic, delicate and velvety.
Pairs perfectly with typical Tuscan recipes such as pici (type of big spaghetti, whose diameter is never under 3mm [0.118inches]), pappardelle (wider tagliolini-like pasta), polenta, salami and roasted red meat, as well as Italian cold cuts and aged cheese. Serve at 18°-20°C (64.4° to 68°F).

Prodotto con uve Sangiovese accuratamente selezionate, con l'aggiunta di piccole quantità di Alicante, Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon.
Le uve vengono vinificate separatamente e lasciate macerare per un periodo variabile dai 21 ai 28 giorni, a seconda della varietà di uva. Segue un periodo di affinamento in piccoli carati di rovere francese per un periodo di 14 mesi, durante il quale il vino svolge la fermentazione malolattica e subisce frequenti travasi. Viene messo in commercio dopo un ulteriore affinamento in bottiglia per circa 6 mesi.
Il Tempio è un vino che non subisce processi di stabilizzazione e di chiarifica per mantenere l’intero patrimonio gustativo del prodotto.

The grapes used to make the Morellino di Scansano "Fontetinta" are picked by hand and the juice undergoes alcoholic fermentation in iron vats. The maceration lasts 20 days with frequent daily remixing. The wine is then aged for six months in French barriques, where it undergoes the malolactic fermentation. The wine is released after an extra three months' rest in the bottles.
The color is bright ruby red, to the nose it reveals the strong scent of fruits, with notes of vanilla and spices. In the mouth it is balanced, with good tannic structure, but with sweet, harmonic notes to the palate. Ideal with red meat dishes, pasta and savory recipes. |

The unusual proximity of an oak and a willow tree nearby the Terre di Nano estate was reported in historic maps of the village of Monticchiello, in Val d'Orcia, as Quercialsale. The Leonardo da Vinci sketches for the painting known as Battaglia di Anghiari which are reproduced on the label, suggest the strength and dynamism of this barrique-aged wine made with 100% Sangiovese.
A product with great character, it has a soft and enveloping flavor, whose noble tannins are well integrated in the wine structure, which shows excellent balance and persistence and it is at its best paired with red meat-based recipes.

The top wine produced by the estate is made with carefully selected grapes of Sangiovese Grosso (the variety of Sangiovese used to produce the world renowned Brunello di Montalcino), blended with with a calibrated amount of Merlot, it takes its name from the maclura pomifera tree of North American origins, one splendid, majestic specimen of which embellishes the entrance to the Terre di Nano estate.
Aged in wooden barrels with periodic passage in barriques, this wine is further aged for one year in the bottles before release. Elegant and refined, with full, harmonious body, it shows persistent notes of red berries and vanilla. The Maclura is a wine that gets better with ageing. It is particularly indicated for pairing with important red meat dishes, grilled game, and savory roasted meat. It is excellent paired with medium- and long-aged cheeses, also when these show spicy notes.

This wine is well suited for those looking for a young, drinkable fruity red.
A 48 hours pre-maceration period at 15°C is followed by 10 days fermentation at 28°C. Maturation lasts for 8 months in stainless steel vats and is followed by 3 months in bottles before release. The wine is released the spring following the harvest.
Ripe fruit perfume with hints of spices, mint and cherry jam. The ripe tannins and lively acidity complement the macerated fruit flavor and leather finish. |
