Primitivo vines 30 to 50 years old cultivated in sandy soil using the alberello pugliese (little Apulian tree) method, produce the grapes used for this wine. After maceration in temperature-controlled glass-coated cement vats until the sugar content is below 15-30 grams per liter at the fermentation temperature of 27°-30°C (80.6°-86°F,) the wine is stored partly in glass-coated cement vats, partly in French and American oak barriques, and partly in iron vats, assembling it before bottling.

The Sorrento peninsula is a beautiful stretch of land of overwhelming beauty, and is a sought-after international tourist destination for thousands of people who come each year, attracted by the balmy weather and the splendid and beautiful rocky coastline.
Saint Lancerio, in his writings reminds us of how His Holiness, Pope Paul the Third, of the Farnese household, liked to drink the wine produced on the peninsula of Sorrento, "because it is a delicate drink."
This excellent, traditional quality wine is produced in a small hilly area. The color is intense ruby red, to the nose it brings aromas of red berries, and in the mouth it is round, with notes of ripe grapes and cherries.

Made with grapes produced from a very ancient vine native of Bagnacavallo and the Romagna plain, which takes its name from Antonio Longanesi, nicknamed Bursòn, who discovered this grape variety in his vineyard and saved it from extinction.
The color is intense ruby red, clear and consistent, with good legs and density. During the olfactory analysis, a complex perfume of wild berries, cocoa and liquorice stands out, ending with balsamic persistence. To the palate it is soft, warm, harmonic, with tannins and toasted notes well rounded and balanced. The finish is persistent and velvety.
Suggested pairings include tagliatelle with wild game sauce, tender beef stew, lamb with potatoes, Romagna-style grille, roast beef, pork cheek cooked with Bursòn wine, and pheasant breast, but also with cold cuts such as Tuscan finocchiona. |

The average age of the vines is over 70 years.
Brilliant ruby red with garnet nuances. Perfume of wild berries, pomegranate, plums and herbaceous notes reminiscent of the macchia mediterranea (Mediterranean bushes). The seductive progression of perfume introduces elegant notes of leather and tobacco. It is warm, soft and enveloping to the palate. A perfect balance between acidity and tannins.
It pairs well with strong-flavored Italian salami, pasta dishes with flavorful tomato sauces, red meat roasts and game. Is excellent with lamb, the typical 'porceddu' sardo (suckling pig on a spit Sardinian-style), Fiore sardo (kind of Sardinian cheese) and other local aged pecorino cheese.
The old vines are cultivated cultivated on sandy soil very close to the water with the alberello (small tree) style, which here means less than a foot and a half tall. Each vine produces just one bunch per year. The result is a truly superior strong wine which is sure to please the connoisseur looking for a honest, fruity, palatable wine.
Open at least two hours before serving at 18°-20°C (64.4°-68°F).

The Sangiovese and Merlot grapes used to make this wine grow on hilly, well ventilated calcareous soil, and are harvested between the end of September and the first half of October. The two varietals are crushed and fermented separately in iron vats at a controlled temperature then, still separated, the wines are transferred into oak barrels, where they are left to age for 12 to 20 months. The wines are blended at bottling time, then they refine six months before the first bottles are released.
Better served at 18°C. (64.4°F.), paired with rich, full-flavored recipes. In Tuscany, you may see it paired with polenta seasoned with game sauce, tortiglioni pasta with goose sauce, or roast sage pigeon. |

As it is for the regular version, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Canneta is obtained from grapes grown in vineyards cultivated at 400 meters (around 1,312 feet) of elevation. The difference is in the fact that the Riserva version refines for an extra 12 months, compared to the regular version, which ages for at least five years, three of which are spent in oak barrels, before the first bottles leave the winery cellar.
The color is intense ruby red, and releases hints of ripe fruits to the nose. In the mouth it is elegant and harmonious, with light tannins. The Sangiovese grapes used to make this Chianti DOCG are produced from five-to-ten year old vines, and are harvested at the end of September. The wine ferments and ages in stainless steel vats.
It is limpid purply-red in color with complex, intense nose which opens with notes of red fruits such as wild berries and cherries, then expands in a delicate violet scent. In the mouth it is warm, yet fresh because of the mineral notes already suggested in the nose. The fine tannins are balanced by the acidity and body of the wine.

Produced with carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, with the addition of small quantities of Alicante, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The grapes are pressed separately and are let macerate for a period of 21 to 28 days, according to the variety. After mixing the varieties the wine is aged for 14 months in small French oak barrels called carati. During this period the malolactic fermentation takes place and the wine is decanted frequently. Before being released it is aged six more months in the bottle.
Il Tempio is a wine which does not undergo any stabilization or clarification process, in order to maintain the character and flavor of the product intact.
Perfect to pair traditional Tuscan recipes, in particular game based dishes and aged cheese. |

Vinification is done by carbonic maceration for a period of 13 to 15 days without stems. After the monolactic fermentation is completed, around half the wine is decanted in 16.23- and 44-hectoliter (428.75 and 1,162 gallons) Slavonic oak barrels, while the other half ages in in Allier barriques and tonneaux for 18 months. The wines are then assembled and left to rest for 30 to 40 days before bottling, then the wine refines for at least two months before release.
The color is intense ruby red, and to the nose it reveals a pleasant winey, delicate scent, with hints of violets, vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it is dry and round, with tannins softened by the aging in barrel.
Excellent with red meat, pasta dishes and wild game. It is advised to open the bottle about two hours before serving at a temperature of 18°C. (64.4° F.). |

The unusual proximity of an oak and a willow tree nearby the Terre di Nano estate was reported in historic maps of the village of Monticchiello, in Val d'Orcia, as Quercialsale. The Leonardo da Vinci sketches for the painting known as Battaglia di Anghiari which are reproduced on the label, suggest the strength and dynamism of this barrique-aged wine made with 100% Sangiovese.
A product with great character, it has a soft and enveloping flavor, whose noble tannins are well integrated in the wine structure, which shows excellent balance and persistence and it is at its best paired with red meat-based recipes.
The bottle should be uncorked one hour before serving at 18°-20°C (64.4°-68°F). |

The wine is vinified following the traditional winemaking once used to produce the Chianti Colli Senesi, known as 'Governo all'Uso Toscano'. This method consists in generating a second re-fermentation by adding more pressed grapes to the must in order to allow the release of all the sugar content which may not have been transformed into alcohol yet. Later it is decanted into outdoor stainless steels vats, so that the winter frosting precipitates tartrates. The wine is filtered before bottling and being released on the market starting the following April.
Easy drinkable wine with intense ruby red color and extraordinary flower and red fruit aroma. In the mouth it is slightly tannic .

The Sangiovese grapes used to make this blush wine are harvested in mid October and left to macerate inside the pressing machine for 24 hour before undergoing soft press. The fermentation lasts about 20 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature kept below 18°C. (64.4°F.), where it then ripens for three months.
The color is deep pink, thanks to the maceration with the grape skin before pressing. To the nose it is clean, intense, with strong aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, pomegranates and cherries preserved in spirit, as well as lighter floral scent of violets and wild roses. To the palate it is soft and velvety, well structured, with light tannins and good acidity. All in all, this wine offers a very good harmony between the olfactory and taste sensations.
Excellent paired with smoked fish, tagliolini pasta with cherry tomatoes and crisp red snapper, grilled vegetables and seafood, frittura mista and fresh or medium aged cheeses. |

The top wine produced by the estate is made with carefully selected grapes of Sangiovese Grosso (the variety of Sangiovese used to produce the world renowned Brunello di Montalcino), blended with with a calibrated amount of Merlot, it takes its name from the maclura pomifera tree of North American origins, one splendid, majestic specimen of which embellishes the entrance to the Terre di Nano estate.
Aged in wooden barrels with periodic passage in barriques, this wine is further aged for one year in the bottles before release. Elegant and refined, with full, harmonious body, it shows persistent notes of red berries and vanilla. The Maclura is a wine that gets better with ageing. It is particularly indicated for pairing with important red meat dishes, grilled game, and savory roasted meat. It is excellent paired with medium- and long-aged cheeses, also when these show spicy notes.
The bottle should be uncorked at least one hour before serving at 18°-20°C (64.4°-68°F). |

"Named for the blue (Azzurro) eyes of Danilo's (the estate owner) first daughter. The wine is an excellent Baby Brunello. It comes from the same grapes, with less aging. Produced with pure Sangiovese Grosso (also known as Prugnolo Gentile, or Brunello, in the town of Montalcino, in Tuscany).
Balanced and fruity, with red currant, cherry and a hint of vanilla. Medium- to full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long finish. Recommended"

The Casali in Val di Chio label represent the work and ideas of two young female entrepreneurs who have brought new life to the ancient family business. As a tribute to local traditions, all the wines produced under this brand take their names from the wisdom of the Valdichiana region.
The 'Merigge' is a shady place protected from the summer heat where the peasants rest the body and the mind. The name appropriately defines this intense, round, meditation wine. made with Merlot grapes, this wine is suitable for long ageing and pairs perfectly with noble meats and game. It's also interesting paired with chocolate.

To the palate it is soft, with good acidity and lively, yet soft tannins. The aroma of dark fruits and minerals remains after swallowing.

This dark ruby red wine made with 100% Merlot grapes ages for 12 months in French oak barriques, and refines for at least an extra eight months in the bottles.
The olfactory examination reveals notes of blackcurrant, plums, bitter cherry, blueberries an violet. The aromas typical of barrique ageing, such as vanilla, liquorice, tobacco, cocoa, cinnamon, and pink pepper hit the nose after a few minutes. In the mouth it is rather tannic at first, but mellows almost immediately, giving way to the softness typical of the Merlot. Well structured, robust, and nicely balanced. Serve at 18° to 20°C. Long lasting, harmonious wine with great structure. The grapes are carefully selected at harvest time, then the skin is left with the fermenting must for about 25 days, thus extracting all the phenols which make for a precious wine.
The color is ruby red with subdued garnet highlights. Complex nose, with the scent of ripe fruits, black pepper, vanilla and a hint of chocolate in the background. In the mouth it is full, harmonious, with extremely elegant tannins. Meditation wine which pairs well with wild game. |

Wine typical of the production zone, which represents a good expression of the varietal's characteristics, fermented in iron vats with a brief stay in wooden barrels. Floral and fruity perfumes, with preeminence of cherry and ripe strawberry in the background.
It pairs well with cold cuts- and fresh cheese-based hors d'oeuvres, in particular with prosciutto di San Daniele DOP and main courses based on veal. |

A 48 hours pre-maceration period at 15°C is followed by 10 days fermentation at 28°C. Maturation lasts for 8 months in stainless steel vats and is followed by 3 months in bottles before release. The wine is released the spring following the harvest.
Ripe fruit perfume with hints of spices, mint and cherry jam. The ripe tannins and lively acidity complement the macerated fruit flavor and leather finish. |
