Comments: The must is left to macerate for 12 days in iron vats at a controlled temperature, then it ages for one year in 25 hectoliter (around 660 gallons) oak vats, followed by six months in barriques. After the different varietals are assembled, the wine rests for six more months in 50 hectoliter (around 1,320 gallons) oak vats, before being bottled and left to refine for 12 more months before release.

The color is ruby red with garnet highlights. The scent is herbaceous and intense, with notes of ripe fruits. Well structured, with light tannins and a persistent aroma.

Serve at 18° to 20°C. (64.4° to 68°F.) in wide-mouthed glasses, paired with roast meat and game.

Comments: The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso (Refosco with the Red Stem) is an ancient native vine which produces the typical wine from Faedis, in the province of Udine. The grapes of this fertile, high production vine generate a ruby red wine with purple highlights. The nose is perfumed, intense and pleasant. Sapid, with consistent body, it is slightly tannic to the palate and perfectly balanced.

Excellent paired with red meat and wild game. Serve at 15 - 18°C (59 - 64°F).

Comments: Formerly known as Tocai Friulano, from April 1, 2007 this wines official name is simply Friulano, as decided by the European Commission, so that it will not be confused with the well known Hungarian Tokaji dessert wine.

The color is straw yellow with green highlights. The aroma is floral and fruity, with a typical scent of almond. Dry, intense and velvety taste, with moderate acidity.

Pairs well with shellfish, seafood pasta, and grilled seafood. Serve at 10°C (50°F).

Comments: This ancient native vine, when grown in hilly areas as is the case of Faedis, where the Mosolo vineyards are located, produces excellent wines highly appreciated by consumers.

The Verduzzo Friulano has a straw yellow color and fruity perfume. It is robust, with solid body and balanced alcohol content.

In addition to being a perfect wine for the entire meal, it pairs well with dry cookies and, if aged, with spicy cheeses. Serve at 8 - 10°C (46.4 - 50°F).

Comments: The grape juice macerates for 36 hours in iron vats at a controlled temperature, then it matures for two months in oak barriques. After bottling it is left to refine for six more months before being released on the market.

Warm golden yellow in color, this dessert wine has an intense fruity perfume, with notes of acacia blooms and honey. To the palate it is full, with a sweet bouquet and light tannins.

Serve at 14°C. (57.2°F.) in wide-mouthed glasses, pairing with dessert or cheese platter, including such cheeses as Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano, or Gorgonzola-type (blue cheese) cheeses.
