Dessert wine made with Primitivo grapes from 30 to 50 years old vines cultivated in sandy soil using the alberello pugliese (little Apulian tree) method. After maceration in temperature-controlled glass-coated cement vats until the sugar content is below 80-100 grams per liter at the fermentation temperature of 27°-30°C (80.6°-86°F,) the wine is stored partly in French and American oak barriques, partly in glass coated cement vats, and partly in iron vats, and combined before bottling.
Intense red in color, the wine has strawberry and wild berry perfume. Pairs well with cheese platters and other end-of-meal offerings. |

The grape juice macerates for 36 hours in iron vats at a controlled temperature, then it matures for two months in oak barriques. After bottling it is left to refine for six more months before being released on the market.
Warm golden yellow in color, this dessert wine has an intense fruity perfume, with notes of acacia blooms and honey. To the palate it is full, with a sweet bouquet and light tannins.
Serve at 14°C. (57.2°F.) in wide-mouthed glasses, pairing with dessert or cheese platter, including such cheeses as Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano, or Gorgonzola-type (blue cheese) cheeses. |

One-of-a-kind, golden yellow wine, with perfume of flowers and intense honey, almond and dried fruit notes. To the palate it is sweet and harmonic, elegant, mellow and seductive, pleasantly persistent and gratifying. It may be drunk as meditation wine, but pairs magnificently with Sardinian pastry, amaretto cookies, desserts and herb-flavored cheeses.
At Verona's 38th Vinitaly this wine was awarded the Gran Menzione award. |
