• National Women's Wine Competition 2009

  An all-star panel of 36 all-women judges determined that 15 wines imported and distributed by WineCountry.IT, L.L.C., and produced by estates associated with the Italian Flavor Consortium, were worthy of 5 silver and 10 bronze medals. WineCountry.IT, L.L.C. wines competed against over 1400 wines from 31 US states and 7 foreign countries in the National Women’s Wine Competition™, which concluded recently in Santa Rosa, CA.

• 2008 Professional Wine Buyer's Competition

  Back on October 13 and 14, 2008, nearly 900 wines faced off and were judged by America's top wine buyers at the first ever US Professional Wine Buyers Competition, held in Santa Rosa, California.
  
  Our group presented wines produced by estates associated with the Italian Flavor Consortium, imported and distributed in California by WineCountry.IT, L.L.C., and scored two silver medals and 10 bronze medals.

• Gold and Silver Medals for Malibràn Prosecco

  Maurizio Favrel, the young owner and winemaker of Azienda Agricola Malibràn, producer of the excellent prize winning wines Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOC Spumante Brut – Ruio and Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOC Spumante Extra Dry – Gorio, among others, won an important gold medal in Italy and two silver ones in the US in a matter of a couple of weeks.
